Peshawar: Pakistani security forces have killed 11 terrorists in three separate operations in the restive northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Officials have already given relevant information. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media arm of the Pakistan Armed Forces, the operations were carried out in different parts of the province on December 17 and 18.

After receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the area, the Tank Zone launched its first operation and killed seven terrorists. The second operation was launched in Datakhale in North Waziristan district where two terrorists were killed. Two more terrorists were killed in Mohmand district. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists.

What does the report say?
According to a report released by the Center for Research and Security Studies (CRSS), in the third quarter of 2024 (July to September), Pakistan will cause deaths in terrorist violence and kill a large number of terrorists in counter-terrorism operations. Terrorist acts occur from time to time. In 328 incidents recorded during this period, a total of 722 people, including civilians, security personnel and criminals, were killed and 615 injured.

In early November this year, Pakistani security forces took major actions and launched large-scale military operations against terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
