Yemeni rebel positions targeted
The Israeli military said in a statement that it struck rebel positions on the ground and along the coast in Yemen, but did not provide details of the attacks. The military said it would continue to respond to all threats to its citizens and take action when necessary.
Houthis fire missiles at Israel
Houthi rebels earlier said the attacks were targeting the capital Sanaa and the port city of Hodeidah. Earlier, Houthi rebels fired a missile into central Israel, triggering an alert in Tel Aviv and other areas. The Israeli military said its air force intercepted and destroyed a missile launched from Yemen before it entered the country. (Associated Press)
