Earlier, NSA Ajit Doval also met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing on Wednesday. During this period, the two leaders reportedly discussed various issues, including maintaining peace along the Line of Actual Control and reviving bilateral ties that have been tense for more than four years due to the military standoff in eastern Ladakh.
