December 18, 2024: Kiran Rao’s Ms. LapataOfficial entry into India Best International Feature Film At the 97th Academy Awards ceremony, he was not nominated. Ahead of the prestigious Oscars, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the official selection results across 10 key categories, with Rao’s rural comedy being left out of the finals.
