Making a comeback in SMAT

Things slowly got worse for Prithvi Shaw. Shaw was dropped from the Mumbai squad two months ago ahead of the Ranji Trophy due to fitness and disciplinary issues. However, after this, based on his hard work, he made a vacant position in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy team and returned to the team. He scored 197 points in 9 games at the 2024 SMAT with an average of 21.88. He was outstanding in the quarterfinals. This time too, Shaw went unsold in the IPL. After the SMAT, Mumbai captain Shreyas Iyer also said that he needs to work harder on his work ethic.
