Beware, are visions of Hindu idols buried in every well in the country?

Statues found in the Well of Sambal

I have a very old idol of Ganesha which is very majestic and very heavy. The statue was cast from the POP mold and is a copy of a tenth-century statue. I brought it from Mathura Museum. When the apartment changed hands last year, the statue toppled and shattered. This was a shock to me because this icon is very dear to me. I also have faith in that idol. This statue decorating the living room attracts every visitor. Now the broken idol could not be kept at home, so I went to a neighboring temple to save it. People in the neighborhood used to keep broken idols under the Bodhi tree. But the priest said throw this idol somewhere and don’t leave it here. I said, Father, where else can I put it? Let it be right here. A statue like this will never be found again. But the priest said, throw it somewhere else. He looked at the Hindong Canal flowing behind him and said, throw it to the bank there. The canal has now become a stinking ditch.

Ganesha elephant trapped in swamp

This is very humiliating and sad for me. How could such a majestic and rare statue float in this gutter-like canal? I put the statue in the car and walked towards Xindong River. I decided to throw the idol into the urban forest of Ghaziabad, four kilometers away. But there are many swamps along the river bank. That’s why I can’t go to Dal. Even though he threw the statue with all his strength, the heavy statue was thrown a few steps away and got stuck in the rubble. It is very sad to see the Ganesha idol in this condition, but what can be done? Earlier too we used to throw broken idols into the rivers and streams of the villages. Recently, when the news came out that an idol was found in a well in Sambhar, I thought, hey, Hindus put idols in wells all the time. In the past, we used to throw idols into the river.

There are more precious gems in the well

When drinking water began to be supplied through wells and taps, the wells were filled. To bridge these wells, either these broken idols were placed into the wells, or earth was brought into the wells and filled. Earlier, people also had wells in their homes. It is a common practice to dig a well in the yard of a home for the women of the family to bathe. I myself have seen wells in houses in Old Delhi (Chandni Chowk). Diwan Jarmani Das, secretary to Patiala Maharaj, wrote a novel titled Maharani, which describes How one of Maharaj’s officials went through the well to the Queen’s bathroom to greet her. The Queen was fascinated by the officer. Overall, the wells of India hold many stories and many buried treasures. The temple priests threw gold and silver idols, jewelery etc. into the wells to save their wealth from the attackers. Therefore, many precious gems can be found in the process of digging wells.

There is a well in the house!

Not just in Sambal, you will find something in all the wells in every corner of India. Just 20 years ago, I had to go to Gopalpura port near Balrampur in Odisha. There are Kewra forests near this port, 25 kilometers from Chilka lake, and a story must be written about them. There are a lot of cobras in the Kewra forest so you need to find locals. Perfume merchants of Kannauj brought Kevada from there and many perfume merchants also had farmhouses there. The manager of one of my friend’s farmhouses came to meet me in Bhubaneswar. This man named Gopal Panda first took me from the airport to his ancestral home in the city of Bhubaneswar. In the evening, Brahmin families there take bath before eating. He fetched two buckets of water from the well in his yard and immediately prepared to leave.

We are forgetting our recent history.

After dinner, at 9 pm, when we were taking a taxi to Gopalpura, I asked him if the municipal corporation does not provide drinking water at home? So he said, let’s do this, but the water in the well will always be fresh. Wells is very important in India. Wells in Muslim communities are communal. They used to fetch water from there and deliver it to their homes. Wealthy Hindu families used to dig wells in their yards. Their motive for doing this is that if there is a theft or robbery at home, they throw their jewelry or gold and silver idols into the well. They will remain safe in the well for several years. We are forgetting our very intimate history, otherwise the discovery of an idol in a well would not have been such a surprising event.

Singapore and Malaysia destroy common heritage

The seeds of Hindu-Muslim hatred sown by the British were not destroyed even after Partition. These seeds go on to grow poisonous crops. False and true stories were concocted for the sake of mutual harmony, but their roots were never attacked. Therefore, the riots cannot be stopped. After every riot, Hindus would leave Muslim-dominated areas and Muslims would leave Hindu areas. No effort was ever made to understand each other. In addition, the media also spread more poison. In Hindi movies, every Muslim either prays five times a day or is portrayed as a terrorist. The Hindu priestly community is shown to be greedy and deceitful, likewise the merchant is shown to be a stickler, and the warrior community is shown to have an evil eye on women. Mutual love or shared heritage are never depicted.

These two people can’t find their way!

Articles in Hindi newspapers contain spicy news about politics or political views in the articles. The closeness and differences between Hindus and Muslims should never be viewed in a rational manner. The result was such a distance between the two that people did not even dare to discuss religion with each other. Either call Turkish and Mughal culture great, or claim that every food, clothing style and decoration in this country was imported from Islamic countries, or claim that the Hindu past is the best in the world. This exaggeration fuels the hatred between Hindus and Muslims in India. Politicians are also influenced by public sentiment when they debate in parliament and parliament. There has never been a debate like a responsible tour guide in the Legislature and Parliament. Today this hatred is fueled by slights.

Babar quotes Babu Nama

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s reference to Baburnama triggered a heated debate in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly on Monday. Babur was a Turkic-Mongol invader from Central Asia. His family came to be known as the Mughals. Because his mother is Mongolian and his father is Turkish. He did not come to rule India, he just wanted to rob and leave. His family committed many atrocities against him in Samarkand. He needed money so he could go to Kabul and establish his own independent regime. He first defeated the Pathans in Punjab, which bordered Afghanistan, and then marched towards India. Ibrahim Lodi ruled here at that time. India is very rich and powerful. In 1526, he defeated Ibrahim Lodi’s massive army at the Battle of Panipat and razed Delhi and Agra.

Guru Nanak also wrote that Babar was terrible

His contemporary guru Guru Nanak wrote Khorasan Khasmana Kiya Hindustanu Daraiya. If you don’t give me money, please give me Mughalu Chadaiya. Babar Mughal attacked and terrorized India by giving Khorasan to others, those who forgot their duties and participated in guessing games, they had to face punishment, for which) God do not allow yourself to be blamed. In order to punish the ruler of Patan who forgot his duties and indulged in evil, Qatar appointed Mughal Babar as Yamraj and asked him to attack India. But, oh my God! Besides the drunken Pathan officers, the unarmed poor were also crushed. He was beaten so badly that he started crying. Seeing all this, do you feel pity for them? This is recorded in the Guru Granth Sahib on page 360.

Hindustan Muslims and the Mughals

But Babar liked the colors of India. He started from Agra and reached Etawah via Yamuna. There he had his overgrown hair and beard trimmed and performed Ghusl. There he wrote that Indians (both Hindus and Muslims) were very dirty. Don’t take a shower or get a haircut. Today, people in the Muslim community consider Babar as their ancestor. But Babar never liked the Indian Muslims of that time. Neither gave him any lofty status. However, he admired the bravery and loyalty of the Rajputs. After defeating Ranasanga, he decided to establish his rule over India. Thereafter, the Mughal rule in India lasted until 1857. But the Mughals always assigned high positions only to Muslims from Arabia, Iran, Iraq or Rajputs.

blackmail politics

Even then, Hindus were the majority in India and still are today. Interestingly, even then, Hindus were not afraid of any Muslim ruler, so why would they be afraid today? Those in power never understood this. Gandhi was the only one who understood the interrelationship between Hindus and Muslims in India before and during Independence. But he was murdered just five months after independence. Thereafter, the Congress considered Muslims as its solid vote bank, while the Jan Sangh and his successor, the Bharatiya Janata Party, considered Hindus as its solid vote bank. Therefore, they all promoted the religious beliefs of these communities. It was also pointed out that these parties were their protectors. That is why no one can understand the context of the discovery of the idol in the well.
