Bhubaneswar: A strange case has emerged in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha. Bees attacked Congress workers protesting here. There was chaos after the bee attack. Not only protesters, but police and journalists were also spotted trying to escape. Based on the information received, Congress workers surrounded the residence of IAS Bishnupad Sethi. During the bee attack, everyone from police to protesters and journalists sat on the ground trying to protect themselves. Congressional staff also wore posters in self-defense during this period.
Protest against IAS Sethi
In fact, Congress youth wing workers had marched to the gherao residence of senior IAS officer Bishnupad Sethi over his alleged involvement in a corruption case. During this time, he held the party flag and flag in his hand. The CBI is currently investigating the matter. Let us tell you that on December 10, the CBI issued a summons to Sethi, Principal Secretary, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes Development Department, Ministry of Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare, in connection with a Rs 10-lakh bribery case. IAS Sethi is also the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Social Security and Disability Empowerment. The CBI has also arrested three persons, including Chanchal Mukherjee, group managing director of ‘Bridge and Roof Construction Ltd.’ in Bhubaneswar in the case.
Congressional staff seen hiding from bees
When the Youth Congress workers reached near the house of IAS Bishnupad Sethi, they were suddenly attacked by a swarm of bees. Afterwards, many people covered their faces and lay on the ground to protect themselves from the bees. Some time later, when the bees disappeared, Youth Congress workers resumed their protest.
