The revenue of the Sabarimala temple in Kerala has increased significantly since the beginning of the Mandal period. This year’s revenue increased by Rs 22.76 million compared to last year’s revenue. Travancore Devaswom Board Chairman PS Prashanth said that as of December 14, 22 lakh Ayyappa devotees had visited the Sabarimala temple. The total revenue of the temple this year reached 163.89 billion rupees. May I ask how much donations the temple received from?
The temple committee received Rs 82.67 crore from the sale of Aravana (Prasad) and Rs 52.27 crore from the sale of items. Revenue from the sale of Aravana increased by Rs 174.1 million from Rs 652.6 million last year. Merchandise revenue increased by Rs 835 crore. According to statistics, 22,67,956 pilgrims have visited Sabarimala so far this year. The total revenue earned by the temple from this is Rs 163.89 crore.
KSRTC starts bus services
The TDB chairman said that all necessary facilities have been provided to ensure smooth darshan of the pilgrims and he thanked all departments, including the police, for their cooperation with the Devaswom Committee. The weather has been relatively good in Sabarimala for the past two days. Even though Sunday is a holiday, devotees can still have darshan without crowds. In view of the large number of pilgrims, KSRTC has started more bus services.

Pilgrims can also buy tickets for KSRTC bus services online. It is said that only those who queue up and book darshan can enter the temple. Online booking has been basically completed. There are no other slots available for darshan till January. There are also some changes to vehicle parking. Parking of vehicles with FASTag will be allowed in Pampa, but parking lots will remain closed for vehicles without FASTag.
