Mining major Vedanta Ltd is scheduled to hold a board meeting on Monday. An exchange filing earlier this week showed the company will consider issuing a fourth interim dividend for the financial year 2024-25.
“The Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”) proposes to consider and approve the fourth interim dividend, if any, for the financial year 2024-25 on Monday, December 16, 2024,” the mining major filed with the BSE on Wednesday, December 11 expressed in the file.
The board of directors is scheduled to meet on December 16.
The company also announced that if the board approves a fourth interim dividend issuance, the issuance date will be Tuesday, December 24.
“Please note that if a dividend is declared, the record date for determining equity shareholders’ entitlement to the said dividend will be Tuesday, December 24, 2024,” Vedanta said in an exchange filing.
