Amit Shah attends Chhattisgarh Police Chairman Police Color Awards Ceremony PTI
Union Home Minister Amit Shah was addressing the President’s Police Color Awards ceremony in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on Sunday. He once again issued an ultimatum to the Naxals from the Raipur Police Parade Ground. Shah said that Naxalism will be completely eliminated from Chhattisgarh, including Bastar, by March 2026. On the occasion, he praised the Chhattisgarh government’s policy on resurgent Naxalism. Naxalites were also asked to give up their arms and join the mainstream.
Amit Shah said when Chhattisgarh gets rid of Naxalism, the entire country will also get rid of this problem. Calling on the Naxalites to join the mainstream, the Home Minister said the Chhattisgarh government has formulated good policies. Children have access to many facilities including teachers and accommodation. In the eighties, there was no electricity in Bastar and the school was burnt down. Shah said the Vishnudev Sai government had transformed Bastar.
Nazism will be eliminated by March 31, 2026
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said the Chhattisgarh police had achieved significant success in combating Naxalism in the past one year. “A huge congratulations to the Chhattisgarh Police for receiving this honour. We have been working hard to end Nazism for the past five years. Chhattisgarh,” he said at the President’s Police Award ceremony in Chhattisgarh. The police force of Chhattisgarh is one of the bravest in the country and it is a big deal for the President to bestow this honor on the police force on the occasion of Chhattisgarh’s 25th anniversary. Public safety or towards detoxification, Chhattisgarh Police is at the forefront in everything.
He said Sardar Patel worked hard to unify the country and unified 356 princely states. The Modi government also completed the remaining work by deleting Article 370. Even as the BJP was in power for 15 years, it was committed to fighting Nazism and creating new dimensions of development. “I assure the people of Chhattisgarh that we will serve the people this way,” Shah said. The state and central governments will jointly eliminate Naxalism from Chhattisgarh by March 31, 2026 .
287 Naxalites killed and 1,000 arrested in one year
Amit Shah said when Chhattisgarh gets rid of Naxalite, the entire country will be free of this problem. He said that in the past one year, 287 Naxalites were killed, 1,000 arrested and 837 Naxalites surrendered in the state. Shah said the Chhattisgarh police and the country’s security forces have hammered the final nail in the coffin of Naxalism over the past year. This is the first time in the past four decades that the number of civilians and security forces killed in Naxalite violence has fallen below 100.
Will compete again in 2026 Bastar Olympics – Shah
Shah, who came to Jagdalpur to participate in the Bastar Olympics event, said he will come here again in the 2026 Bastar Olympics and will say that Bastar has changed. Bastar Olympics will be a medium for the welfare of lakhs of tribals. I welcome players who are leaving Naxalism and entering the mainstream. Amit Shah said there was no electricity in Bastar in the 1980s and the school was burnt down. The Shah’s government replaced Bastar. The previous state government did not support the central government.
