December 12, 2024: The Kapoor family recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi to hold a meeting related to the upcoming Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festivalwhich will celebrate the birth centenary of iconic filmmaker Raj Kapoor. The gathering included famous family members such as Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, kareena kapoor khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoorand Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. During the conversation, Alia asked the Prime Minister if he had time to listen to music. She asked: “Do you still sing?” (Do you have time to listen to music?). She said: “I also saw a clip where I was having dinner with a young man in the car and he kept singing my song. A lot of people sent me this video and everyone was happy).
This meeting is part of a promotional campaign for the project Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festivalaims to commemorate the legacy of one of the most beloved figures in Indian cinema. This festival will showcase Raj Kapoor’s 10 Iconic Movies pass through 40 cities and 135 cinemasthe ticket price is only 100 rupees.
