BJP MP Jyotiraditya Scindia has not forgiven TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee. The two had a heated argument in the Lok Sabha yesterday, Wednesday. During this time, Kalyan Banerjee made derogatory remarks about Scindia. After the matter escalated, he (Banerjee) also apologized to Scindia for his remarks, but Scindia did not forgive him. Scindia said the discussion on Parliament should take place in the Assembly.
How did the controversy begin?
In fact, this dispute between the two MPs started when Kalyan Banerjee was speaking in the Lok Sabha during a discussion on the Disaster Management Act amendment bill. During this time, he accused the central government of being uncooperative during the coronavirus epidemic. Reacting to his accusation, Home Minister Nityanand Rai said it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who helped all states.
Rai further claimed that the West Bengal government was trying to hinder the transportation of COVID-19 vaccines through its territory. Scindia supported Rai and said that India became a friend to the world during the epidemic and helped all countries in need in the world. In response, TMC MP Banerjee hit back at Sidanya and made some objectionable comments.
Complaints against Kalyan Banerjee
