There are demands to hand over command of the Indian Union to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Leaders of various parties in the alliance, including the TMC, supported him. Meanwhile, CM Mamta’s statement also came out. He thanked all the leaders who supported him in leading the Indian Group.
Banerjee, who is on a three-day visit to Digha city in East Medinipur district, told reporters that she would pray for the welfare of these leaders and the alliance. CM said I am grateful to all of them for showing me so much respect. I wish them all good health. Banerjee said he should stay fit. May his party do well and the Indian Union do well.
Demanding the transfer of command of the alliance to Mamata
Last week, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed dissatisfaction with the functioning of the Indian opposition alliance. The chief minister has said she intends to take charge of the opposition alliance if given the opportunity. Since then, leaders of various parties in the alliance have supported him. Leaders said Banerjee should be allowed to lead the alliance.

Leaders support Mamata
In fact, leaders like NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) chief Sharad Pawar and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad have backed Mamati Banerjee Banerjee led the Indian Union. YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy also backed her name and said the TMC could better handle the issues of India’s major constituencies and therefore she should lead the alliance.
