If reports are to be believed, a 45-year-old man from Tripunithura in Kerala lost Rs 4.05 crore after falling into a hacker trap. This matter is also serious because the hackers have trapped this man in their trap for 2.5 months (two and a half months) without him getting any clues. First, the hacker uses social engineering to lure the person into investing. In order to earn high returns, the person promised everything to the hacker and wasted his hard-earned money. The hacker asked the man to download an investing app. For this, the APK link was sent to him via WhatsApp message.
Using an APK link sent via WhatsApp message, the person first downloaded the app on his smartphone and then allegedly invested his earnings, lured by high returns.
