The Supreme Court will hold an important hearing on the Places of Worship Act 1991 on Thursday, December 12. Prior to this, RJD Rajya Sabha MP Manoj Jha had also filed a case in the Supreme Court. He has submitted an application for intervention here. Manoj Jha defended the Places of Worship Act, 1991 in the petition.
Before him, the CPI and Muslim parties had also filed intervention petitions. The pair also defended the Places of Worship Act. So far, a total of 6 petitions and 5 applications for intervention have been filed with the Supreme Court regarding the Places of Worship Act. The Supreme Court has set the hearing time for tomorrow at 3:30 pm.
