The suicide of Atul Subhash, deputy managing director of a private company in Bengaluru, has left his family shocked. Before taking the fatal step, Atul wrote a 24-page suicide note. He also made a video. Atul cited a false case filed by his wife as the reason for the suicide. He has also leveled serious charges of abetment to suicide, harassment, extortion and corruption against his in-laws and a court judge. After Atul’s death, his father Pawan Kumar expressed his anguish.
Atul raised questions about the justice system in his suicide note and video. His father also made serious accusations in this regard. Atul Subhash is a resident of Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. He served as Deputy General Manager, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Division at Mahindra & Mahindra in Bangalore. He is married to Nikhita Singhania, a resident of Jaunpur. Atul’s wife has filed several cases against Atul, including dowry harassment. Atul was very upset about the court date. He mentioned this in his suicide note and video. He hanged himself in his apartment in Bengaluru’s Manjunath Layout area on Monday.
“40 dates from Bangalore to Jaunpur”
Pawan Kumar, the father of the deceased Atul, told the media that his son was fighting a false case filed by his wife. He came to Jaunpur from Bangalore 40 times and he himself visited the stadium constantly. Atul’s wife kept reporting the crime. He said his son had lost faith in the courts. He once said that people in the court do not work according to the law and the rules of the Supreme Court. He traveled from Bangalore to Jaunpur 40 times. He must be disappointed, but he never lets us feel it. He told Atul that the allegations made in his suicide note were 100% true.
I’d better kill myself – Artur
Atul Subhash also made a video before committing suicide. The video went viral on social media. He seemed to be saying, I believe I’d better kill myself because I use the money I make to empower my enemies. That money will only destroy me. And the cycle keeps growing. With my own tax dollars, this court will harass my family and other good people. Only valuable supplies should be eliminated.
9 cases registered, demand of Rs 3 crore
Atul told him that his wife had filed 9 cases against him. Of these, six cases were heard in lower courts and three in the High Court. He said a case was registered against him, his parents and brother in 2022, including charges of murder, dowry harassment and unnatural sex, but his wife later withdrew the case. In another case, his wife admitted falsely accusing him of murdering her father after she demanded huge sums of money from him. Atul’s brother Vikas Kumar claimed that his brother fell into depression after his wife and in-laws implicated him in a false case and demanded Rs 3 crore.
The situation is so bad
The family of Atul, an engineer, said that their relationship lasted for two years and that the cracks in their relationship started when Atul gave his mother-in-law 15 lakh rupees. His mother-in-law Nisha asked Atul 1.5 million rupees to invest in the business, but he bought a house worth about 10 million rupees. Atul expressed dissatisfaction and asked him for money. Thereafter, her mother-in-law gave her Rs 1.5 lakh and started harassing her when she demanded the remaining money. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
