In the second ODI, the Australian batsmen performed brilliantly. Georgia Woll and Ellyse Perry scored hundreds and opener Phoebe Litchfield scored 60 runs off 63 balls. Beth Mooney also contributed 56 points. Australia scored 371 runs in 50 overs and lost 8 wickets. For India, Richa Ghosh got off to a good start but Smriti Mandhana was knocked out in the fourth over. Harleen Deol was out with just 12 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues, who were in the middle order, struggled a bit and were eliminated with 38 and 53 runs respectively. Minnu Mani remained unbeaten with 44 runs but India fell short of the target by 122 runs and lost the match.
