Rishabh Pant loses the catch
Rishabh Pant caught the ball off McSweeney in the 7th over. Jasprit Bumrah objected. In this match, Bumrah took the wicket of Usman Khawaja. He knocked out Usman Khawaja in the 11th round of the fight. If Pant doesn’t take the ball, Bumrah will have at least two wickets. For a bowler, getting the support of the wicketkeeper is very important to achieve success but Bumrah did not get the support of Rishabh Pant as per his requirement.
Pant couldn’t cope with Bumrah’s bowling
Rishabh Pant looked inactive behind the wicket during Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling. Rishabh Pant had 42 catches in Bumrah’s bowling but he conceded 8 out of 42 catches. The statistics of Pant and other bowlers are quite staggering. Other bowlers gave him 132 catches but out of these 132 catches, Rishabh Pant took only 10 catches. Overall, it can be said that Rishabh Pant was unable to perform properly behind the wicket in the bowling of Jasprit Bumrah.
