New Delhi: A 12-year-old student of a private school in southwest Delhi died under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday morning. Giving information, police said that Prince was a resident of Kudupur Hills in Vasant Vihar and a student of Class VI. On the one hand, the police suspected that he may have died of a stroke, but on the other hand, the family alleged a conspiracy, claiming that Prince was beaten by a boy who was studying with him. Police said information was received from Fortis Hospital in Vasant Kunj at 10.15 am that Prince had been brought to the hospital where he died.
“The body is not injured, but…”
Police said in a statement that after questioning and examining the body, they found that the body was uninjured but had a foamy substance coming out of its mouth. Doctors verbally indicated the boy may be suffering from a seizure, but the investigation is ongoing, the statement said. A police statement said students and teachers at the school were being questioned and appropriate legal action would be taken. Prince’s father worked as a sewer worker in Sagar Vasant Vihar Society.
‘My son has never had a stroke before’
The student’s father, Sagar, said he sent his son to school without any problems and was completely healthy. He said: “My son has never had a stroke before. Sagar claimed that some students He was told that Prince fell while fighting with his classmates and then the school teacher took him to the hospital. He said Prince was first taken to Holy Angel Hospital and later transferred to Fortis Hospital.
“Leave school before going to work”
Sagar said doctors at Fortis Hospital declared Prince dead. He said he dropped his son off at school before going to work. “At 9:45 a.m., I got a call from the school saying my son was injured, and when I got to the hospital, he was dead,” said Sagar. Prince was the younger of Sagar’s two sons. one. Prince’s elder brother Priyanshu studies in Class 8 at another private school. Prince’s uncle Vinit raised questions about the absence of his “homeroom teacher” and other school staff during the incident. The school has not issued any statement regarding the incident.
