A Congress delegation met the Election Commission today to discuss “serious issues” related to the Maharashtra assembly elections. Three Complaints to Congress
He said that today the Election Commission has cleared up many confusions in the Congress regarding EVM and poll data. Questions that remain open will be answered in writing. Let us tell you that the Election Commission today summoned Congress leaders to answer the Congress party’s complaint regarding the Maharashtra elections. During this period, nine Congress leaders including Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Nana Patole, Mukul Wasnik and others came to the Election Commission office. During this period, three issues were raised in Congress. First, large numbers of lists were deleted before the election. Second, what is the basis for adding 4.7 million voters to the electoral list? Third, how the 7.6 million votes were added to the poll data released by the Electoral Commission the night after the vote and the data released at 11 p.m.
What did Abhishek Manu Singhvi say?
The Congress leader said that among the 118 assembly seats in Maharashtra, around 25,000 more votes were cast in the assembly elections than in the Lok Sabha elections. This is an unnatural increase. Of the 118 seats, Mahayut won 102 seats. They therefore suspect irregularities in the electoral process. The Election Commission answered all questions from congressional leaders. After the meeting, Abhishek Manu Singhvi seemed satisfied with the response of the Election Commission. He said the talks were going well. The Election Commission answered some questions.
