Affected by Cyclone Storm Van Gaal, many states in the country experienced heavy rains. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for many districts in Kerala. Neighboring states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Puducherry also went on orange alert on Monday. According to IMD, heavy rain is likely to occur in Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kannur in Kerala on Monday.

The sky is clear and the sun is shining brightly during the day. Similar weather conditions are also likely to occur in Delhi-NCR on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. However, the next three months will see a dip in temperature in Delhi-NCR. So the cold will increase a little bit.

There is currently no severe cold weather in many parts of Uttar Pradesh. There are no fog warnings issued anywhere in the state. The weather department said the weather will be fine and clear for the next two to three days. Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, recorded a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius.
Light rain and snowfall in these areas of Himachal Pradesh
Snowfall has already started in the high altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh. Snow is falling on Rohtang, Kullu and Lahaul peaks in Himachal Pradesh. Hordes of tourists are heading to the mountains to see the first snow of the season. According to the local meteorological department, light rain and snowfall are expected in the upper reaches of Kullu, Lahaul-Spiti, Kangra and Mandi in the next three days.
