Dilip Jaiswal delivers a speech in Parliament.
Land survey work is currently underway in Bihar. Many complaints are being received regarding this. Officials deliberately withheld the documents. Employees across the state are busy working on mutations, improvements, and other revenue. Corruption occurs on a massive scale everywhere. Replying to a question during the winter session of Parliament, BJP president and Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dr Dilip Jaiswal also said corruption would not be tolerated under any circumstances. Officials should improve themselves or they will be reformed.
Dilip Jaiswal said the work of circle officials is more of administrative work than income. He admitted that the work was pending due to the Lok Sabha elections but now the government has issued letters to all COs, DCLRs, DMs and commissioners. It is said that no matter what the situation, no matter what case is pending, it should be resolved as soon as possible. He claimed that the pending works would be completed within the next two to three months.
I’m not behind in action
“I am called the revenue minister because I am not behind in taking action,” he said in response to another question in the House. Action has been taken against 180 Bihar officials and their equivalents. The wages of 149 COs have been suspended. Officials either improve themselves or they improve themselves.
Don’t let me open my mouth now
Don’t get me started now on who screwed up the department, he said, over objections from the opposition. I don’t want to open my mouth. Every officer will work otherwise action will be taken against them. He assured the opposition that there was a long list of officials as to how many people we had trapped and arrested. It will be more than you want.
Amour MLA asked a question
During the winter session of the Bihar Assembly, Akhtarul Iman, MP from Amul Assembly seat in Punia district, asked about the war breaking out across Bihar today due to land disputes. The poor are charged Rs 15 to 20,000 for each mutation. The people’s land has disappeared from Register-2. The result is that if someone’s Kewala is not filed within 35 working days or is rejected, the tenant must go to DCLR. Must pay. There was a lot of delay in filing, dismissal, and refinement. How many officers has the department taken action against so far? Hearing this, Dilip Jaiswal got furious and responded.
