Sharad Pawar submitted an affidavit to the Supreme Court ahead of the hearing on the NCP-NCP election symbols dispute. In this affidavit, he stated that Ajit Pawar was trying to create confusion in the minds of voters regarding the clock election symbol. There was an attempt to take unfair advantage of the goodwill associated with the clock election symbol. Sharad Pawar sought permission to produce six documents to prove the charges.
