Sanjay Raut
The Maharashtra Assembly election results are out. In the elections, the BJP won a huge majority with 132 seats, while the Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray faction secured only 20 seats. After the party’s defeat, Uddhav leader Sanjay Raut held former CJI DY Chandrachud responsible for the defeat. He also said that the elections held in Maharashtra and the results were very shocking. No one expected this outcome.
Sanjay Raut further said why Maharashtra voted for Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, the entire campaign was against them. He said if Prime Minister Modi will shift all the industries here to Gujarat, then why will people vote for him here. He further said that farmer suicides are happening in Maharashtra and dishonesty is also happening here. If anyone is responsible for these results, it is Judge Chandrachun.
“History will never forgive Chandrachun Sahab”
Regarding former CJI, Sanjay Raut said that he did not give the decision on disqualification on time. 40 people committed acts of dishonesty, 40 MLAs left the party in which they were elected and came to power in another party. This is your (Justice Chandrachud) responsibility, you are the protector of the Constitution. If you take this decision, then no one dares to do it, even if today you retire from there, the doors and windows are open, now anyone can change the party in any way or can leave his party and form another party. History will never forgive Chandrachun Sahab.

In 2022, Eknath Shinde along with many MLAs broke away from Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena and formed the government with the BJP . Following this, Uddhav Thackeray approached the Supreme Court regarding the matter. The court placed the responsibility for deciding on the disqualification application on the Speaker of Parliament. Later, Speaker Rahul Navika declared that the Shiv Sena led by Shinde was the real Shiv Sena. After rebelling against Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, Eknath Shinde joined hands with the BJP and took over as chief minister.
MVA’s hopes dashed
Of the 288 seats in Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) faction contested 95 seats under the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance but won only 20 . On the other hand, the alliance party Congress contested in 101 seats and won 16 seats, while the National Congress Party contested in 86 seats and won 10 seats. Meanwhile, in the grand alliance, the BJP won 132 seats, the Sindhi faction won 57 seats and the Ajit Pawar faction won 41 seats.
Sanjay Raut said after the defeat, “We are sad but not disappointed.” We will not leave the battle incomplete. The distribution of votes is also a factor in the failure of elections, in which the RSS plays a very important role. He also said that the new government should go to the neighboring state of Gujarat to hold a swearing-in ceremony.
