Yogi govt opens coffers for Mahakumbh, gifts from Noida to Lucknow, know what your city is getting

A cabinet meeting was held on Friday under the chairmanship of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Among them, a total of 24 proposals were received and 23 proposals were adopted. The government has decided to organize domestic and international roadshows of Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. The government has approved the expansion of the Noida-Greater Noida Aqua Metro line. The Aqua Line metro project will extend from Noida Sector-51 metro station to Knowledge Park-20 in Greater Noida. The development authority, which has secured over Rs 40 crore in seed funding for expansion in nine cities in the state, has been sanctioned for substations and transmission lines for the 800 MW solar power plant being built in Chitrakoot. It will be exempted from GST and it has been decided to withdraw it and deposit it into the guaranteed redemption fund set up in UP.

Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the Cabinet meeting decided to add 80 villages under the jurisdiction of KDA (Kanpur Development Authority). Its objective is the development of Kanpur city. The decision was taken in line with the chief minister’s urban expansion plan. An allocation of Rs 30 crore has been proposed for development of other urban areas in the state. 9 The Development Authority and the Housing Development Board will receive 50% of the funds to purchase the land. Accordingly, a proposal has been passed to provide services for Saharanpur, Mathura-Vrindavan, Firozabad, Shikohabad, Lucknow, Moradabad, Khurja, Banda and Meerut Development Authority has provided Rs 4,164.16 million as seed capital for 14 schemes.

UP to set up guaranteed redemption fund

The finance minister said the government provides loans from financial institutions to sectors such as infrastructure, cooperation and rural development. According to the guidance of the Central Finance Commission, the Chinese Government, and the Chinese Government, it was decided to establish a guaranteed redemption fund in the state. The purpose is that if any department defaults, it can be paid out of the fund. The fund is available in 19 states in the country. The state government has provided a guarantee of Rs 1,63,399.82 crore for the fund.

GST-free super neutral alcohol

Uttar Pradesh has decided to revise the Goods and Services Tax. Extra neutral alcohol is included in excise VAT. This will increase UP’s revenue. Now we will get 100% of the revenue from the premium neutral alcohol. There will be no changes to alcohol prices in the state.
