Regarding the exit poll predictions in the two states, Union Minister Manmohan Singh said that he did not believe in the exit polls. The results were contrary to exit poll predictions for the Haryana assembly elections earlier this year, he told reporters in Kolkata. He said we don’t trust exit polls.
“NDA government to be formed in Jharkhand”
He said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will come to power in Jharkhand and if the government is formed there, the Bangladeshi infiltrators will be driven out. Bangladeshi infiltrators are dominant here and they are given shelter so the local residents here are facing problems. He said the polls that have been conducted clearly indicate that Hemant Soren’s departure from the state is a certainty. I am fully hopeful that both the states will be able to form NDA governments.

Talking about the exit polls, most of the surveys expressed the possibility of Mahayuthy becoming the leader of Maharashtra. Maha Vikas Aghadi is likely to step away from power again. Meanwhile, a grand alliance government is expected to be formed in Jharkhand. While this is only an estimate from the exit polls, the picture will be fully clear when the results are announced on November 23, after the votes are counted.
