Indian Women’s Football Team vs Australia Women’s Football Team: The Indian men’s cricket team is currently on tour of Australia and has to play five Test matches in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. On the other hand, the Indian women’s cricket team will also go to Australia in December for a three-match ODI series, and the BCCI has announced the participating list. The command of the team is in the hands of Harmanpreet Kaur. Now, the BCCI has taken a big decision by appointing Meghalaya Cricket Association president Naba Bhattacharjee as the head coach of the Indian women’s cricket team for the Australia tour.

Naba Bhattacharjee told PTI that the tour committee has informed me and all those concerned about my selection as manager. It’s an honor and I’m excited about the position. I will work to further promote sport among young people in the state’s Aboriginal communities. My thanks to Jai Shah for publishing this article. Bhattacharjee has been playing a key role in the development of cricket in Meghalaya for the past 15 years after working in the BCCI’s new zone development programme. He became a permanent member of the state committee in 2018 and has participated in many BCCI domestic and international tournaments.
Shefali Verma is not a team member
Young opener Shefali Verma did not get a place in the ODI series. The team’s batting against Australia will be handled by Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodriguez and Richa Ghosh. Renuka Singh, Deepti Sharma, and Arundhati Reddy got opportunities in the bowling attack. The first and second ODI matches between the Indian women’s team and the Australian women’s team will be played at the Brisbane venue. The third and final ODI will be played in Perth on December 11. All three ODI matches will start at 9.50 am India time.
