Maharashtra cash scandal: MLA Kshitij Thakur slaps Sindh Group leader, fight after heated argument at hotel

MLA Kshitij Thakur beat up the Shind faction leader at the hotel where the meeting was held in Tad.

One day is left for the Maharashtra Assembly elections. With just hours left for polling, BJP general secretary Vinod Tad is in trouble. Bahujan Vikas Aghadi alleged that BJP leader Vinod Tawde distributed money in Virar. Following this, Bahujan Vikas Aghadi got into a heated argument with the BJP workers at Vivant Hotel in Vilar East. Even the leadership and staff of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi beat up some people and the video has now been exposed.

In a video released at Villar Hotel, the leader of the Shiv Sena Shinde faction was beaten by sitting MLA and candidate Kshitij Thakur and his associates. Someone is also seen beating others in the video. It is reported that the person who was beaten by Kshiti Thakur and his associates was named Sudesh Chaudhary, the leader of the Eknath Shinde organization. He also attended the meeting along with Vinod Todd.

In fact, Sudesh Chaudhary had earlier joined Bahujan Vikas Aghadi’s Thakur company but recently he joined the Sindhi faction Shiv Sena. Thakur’s company is also angry. This is said to be the reason why Kishti Thakur herself slapped Chaudhary.

What happened?

A heated argument broke out between Bahujan Vikas Aghadi and the BJP workers at the Vivant Hotel in Manoripada in east Virar. The incident occurred around 1 to 1:30 p.m. Among them, Hitendra Thakur of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi accused Vinod Tawde of distributing the money. Thereafter, Bahujan Vikas Aghadi and many workers of the BJP created ruckus.

Bahujan Vikas Aghadi alleged that Vinod Tawde and local BJP candidate Rajan Naik and some officials brought Rs 5 crore to distribute among voters. Hitendra Thakur’s son Kshitij Thakur and his workers attacked the Vivant Hotel where Vinod Tawde was staying.

Vinod Tawde is surrounded by Bahujan Vikas Aghadi workers. He also allegedly received some money at the hotel. During this period, disputes broke out between workers and leaders on both sides, which even escalated to the point of fighting.

Money entries in diary

After that, very dramatic events happened. After the argument ended, Vinod Tad walked out of the room. Later, some diaries were found in a bag there. Some diaries found from hotel rooms also contained entries for money. Thakur claimed that more than Rs 5 crore was distributed in the hotel.

Todd says – Board of Elections should investigate these allegations

Tad, on the other hand, denied taking the money to the hotel. He said I was there to hold a meeting with workers about the elections. So that they can have the voting process explained to them. Meanwhile, workers of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi reached there and started creating ruckus. As for the allegations of money distribution, the Electoral Commission should investigate. The hotel also has CCTV cameras installed, all of which should be checked.
