In malicious remarks, the Maulana openly threatened to chop off the heads of Hindus and throw them into the Yagya Kund, but the Bangladesh government took no action against the fundamentalists. Not even a statement was issued against him. This is why Bangladeshi Hindus are scared. ISKCON asked the Indian government to intervene.
In the capital Dhaka, activists demonstrated near the home of interim government leader Muhammad Yunus. Maulanath gave speeches against Hindus. Threatens to publicly kill Hindus and slit the throats of Hindus. The anti-Hindu rally was organized by Ulema Aikya (Unity) Parishad. The gathering was attended by the Great Ulama of Dhaka. First, there were demands to ban ISKCON by forming a human chain around the Bangladesh Secretariat. ISKCON has been described as a terrorist organization. Maulanath said if the government does not ban ISKCON, then Muslims in Bangladesh will destroy ISKCON themselves and behead ISKCON people. Dhaka Ulama Committee claims ISKCON is an agent of India in Bangladesh. The campaign against ISKCON began two weeks ago in Chittagong, Bangladesh’s second largest city. In Chittagong, Muslim fundamentalists demanded a ban on ISKCON, but ISKCON opposed it. Bangladeshi police and army created unrest in Hindu areas after local Hindus protested over the sharing of jihadist videos on social media. Hindus were dragged out of their homes and beaten. Samajwadi Party MP Mohibullah Nadvi said the Indian government should take steps to protect the safety of Bangladeshi Hindus and should talk to the Bangladesh government and if the atrocities against Hindus still do not stop, then Bangladeshi Hindus should be given shelter in India. Thursday , Prime Minister Modi met ISKCON saints in Raigad, Maharashtra. Later, the Prime Minister also discussed the situation in Bangladesh with the ISKCON saints and assured them of all help. In fact, ISKCON is not an organization that anyone needs to be afraid of. This organization consists of people who sing the hymns of Lord Krishna and preach the Bhagavad Gita. ISKCON is not an Indian organization and does not have any political affiliation.
I feel that in Bangladesh ISKCON is just an excuse, in fact the Hindu society is the target. In Bangladesh, efforts are being made to scare Hindus, they are oppressed and their life becomes difficult because there are some among Islamic fundamentalists who want to make Bangladesh a fully Islamic country. They want to run the government using Taliban methods. Although this is not the original character of Bangladesh, the current government of Bangladesh is under the control of these fundamentalists. They have the power to threaten, kill, bite anyone and Hindus have no choice but to remain united. However, those who know Bangladesh agree that the fundamentalist dictatorship will not last long.
