Six people were killed in a tragic car accident in Dehradun late at night. At the same time, one injured person has been sent to the hospital in critical condition. According to the information received so far, an Innova was hit by a container and the car was subsequently blown to pieces.
Accident occurred at ONGC Chowk
According to the information received so far, there were seven people in the Innova that collided with the container. Among them, 6 people died and 1 was hospitalized. It is learned that the vehicle that was the victim of the accident was traveling from Balupur to Cantt. The vehicle had an accident with a container at ONGC Chowk, after which the vehicle traveled some distance. After receiving information about the incident, Cantt Kotwali police rushed to the spot and rushed everyone to hospital.
Container driver arrested
Dehradun SP Pramod Kumar has issued a statement regarding the incident. SP City said the accident occurred near ONGC intersection at 2pm last night. The driver of the container that hit the Innova car has been arrested. One surviving passenger is in critical condition and is being treated in hospital.
