Karnataka police have arrested a person named Bikaram Bishnoi from Haveli for threatening actor Salman Khan. According to the information received so far, Bikaram Bishnoi had threatened Salman Khan and demanded a ransom of 50 million rupees. The threats against Salman Khan came in the form of messages sent by the accused to the traffic control room. Now, accused Bikaram Bishnoi has revealed why he was demanding ransom from Salman.
The message was sent from Karnataka
The accused, Bikaram Jalaram Bishnoi, is a native of Jallore district in Rajasthan. Mumbai Police is bringing the accused to Mumbai from Karnataka. Based on the threatening message sent, a case has been registered against an unidentified person at the Worli police station in Mumbai. Investigation into the matter revealed that the message was sent from Karnataka, following which a team of Mumbai Police arrived in Karnataka and arrested the accused with the help of local police.
Accused demands Rs 5 crore to build temple
The arrested accused said during police interrogation that he was a fan of Lawrence Bishnoi. Accused Biharam, who was arrested in Karnataka for threatening and demanding Rs 5 crore ransom, told police that I have no regrets and will go to jail for the Bishnoi community. The accused said he would raise a demand of Rs 5 crore for the construction of a temple for the Bishnoi community.
Said to be the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi
It is learned that the accused further threatened in the threatening message that Salman Khan would be killed if he refused. The accused also claimed to be the brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has been linked to similar threats against the actor in the past. Salman Khan, who has previously received threats from individuals claiming to belong to the Bishnoi community, has yet to comment publicly on the latest development.
