CM Nitish Kumar visits ghats at Chhath Puja.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday visited various Chas Ghats of the Ganga on a water boat from Nasreganj Ghat to Kangan Ghat in the capital Danapur. On the occasion of Chhath Puja, the Chief Minister also offered Arghya to Lord Surya and extended good wishes to the Chhath devotees and wished happiness, peace and prosperity to the people of the state.
Thousands of devotees offered Agyya to the lord of the setting sun, Sun, at various ghats on the Ganga in Patna on Thursday evening. Devotees raised their hands to greet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as he inspected the ghats. The minister raised his hand to accept and respond to everyone’s greetings.

The Chief Minister directed that comprehensive arrangements should be made for the convenience and safety of devotees of Chhath Ghats. Today, at the Chief Minister’s residence at Annemarg 1, he along with his family members offered aargyas to Lord Bhaskar and prayed for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the people of the state. Thereafter, he visited various Chhath Ghats on the Ganga and paid obeisance to the devotees.

Before visiting the Chhath Ghats in Patna, CM Nitish Kumar attended Chhath Puja at the Chief Minister’s residence at 1 Anne Marg and offered Arghya to Lord Surya along with his close family members.
