In Shah Rukh Khan’s case, which involved threatening calls traced to Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Mumbai police has launched an investigation and sent a team to the area for further investigation. A case was registered against the unidentified assailants under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including those related to threats and criminal intimidation.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan has faced multiple threats, including the latest one on November 5, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding an apology or payment of Rs 5 crore. Earlier, in early October, the same gang had issued a threat, reportedly demanding a ransom of Rs 2 crore. Mumbai police have been actively investigating both cases, including arresting a man in Jamshedpur in connection with the earlier threats.
The incidents highlight rising concerns about the safety of high-profile figures in the entertainment industry, especially given the involvement of notorious criminal gangs such as Lawrence Bishnoi. The situation also highlights broader issues of celebrity safety and potential links between organized crime and the film industry.
