Ignorance or monopoly defamation… Rahul’s article causes uproar, royal leaders condemn

Rahul Gandhi.

An article by Rahul Gandhi has caused a political uproar. Many BJP leaders strongly criticized his article and targeted him. Rahul Gandhi, in an article written for a media outlet, said that the East India Company was finished but the fear it created has started to resurface. A new generation of monopolies has taken its place.

He said the company crushed India’s voice not through its commercial strength but through deception. The East India Company ruled India by intimidating and bribing Indian princes. Apart from this, Rahul also talks about many other things in this article. Many BJP leaders who are members of the royal family have condemned Rahul Gandhi’s article.

Rajasthan Deputy Minister Diya Kumari said she strongly condemned Rahul Gandhi’s defamation of India’s former royal family. The dream of united India became possible only due to the huge sacrifices made by the former royal family of India. The accusations based on an incomplete interpretation of historical facts are completely baseless. This is completely unacceptable.

Meanwhile, BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia attacked Rahul Gandhi over the article. He said those who traffic in hatred have no right to preach about India’s pride and history. Their ignorance about India’s rich heritage and colonial mentality is beyond the limit. Scindia said if you claim to uplift the country then stop insulting mother India and know the real heroes of India like Maharaj Scindia, Yuvraj Bir Tikendrajit, Kittur ·Chennama and Rani Viru Nachiyar who fought for our freedom.

Scindia said your inconsistency further exposed the agenda of the Congress. He said Rahul Gandhi was not a supporter of a self-reliant India. India’s legacy does not begin or end with the title “Gandhi”. Respect India’s history or don’t pretend to defend India. Meanwhile, Vishwaraj Singh Mewar, a BJP MP from Nasdeva in Rajasthan, said is this ignorance on the part of Rahul Gandhi or deliberate distortion or monopoly of defamation?

Rahul was targeted by Yaduveer Wadiyar, a BJP MP from Mysore. He said Rahul Gandhi lacked historical knowledge. His new article shows his ignorance of the contribution of the erstwhile princely states in preserving India’s heritage and I strongly condemn his choice of words and insinuations in the article.

These royal leaders made it clear that our King His Majesty never compromised on their self-respect and national identity. Distorting the country’s glorious history will never be tolerated. Rahul Gandhi should publicly tell which kings and princes he is referring to and who took bribes, otherwise he should publicly apologize.
