India vs South Africa 1st T20: The Indian team has traveled to South Africa for a four-match T20 series and the Indian team is fully prepared to plant its flag on African soil. The Indian team consists of young players from the IPL and the command is in the hands of Suryakumar Yadav. It was under Surya’s leadership that India recently won the T20 series against Bangladesh 3-0. Team India will now look at a strong performance in South Africa. The first match between the two teams will be played in Durban on November 8.
Sanju Samson scores century against Bangladesh
In the first T20 match, Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson can be seen playing in combination. Sanju scored a goal in the final match of the T20 series against Bangladesh and managed to impress in the match. Abhishek, on the other hand, is also known for scoring quick runs and can change the course of a match in just a few balls. The two of them have individually led India to victory in the past. Captain Suryakumar Yadav can be placed at number three. Surya changed the definition of T20 cricket. He is good at hitting the ball from any corner of the field.
Ramandeep Singh may get a chance to make his debut
The responsibility of the middle order is likely to rest with Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya and Ramandeep Singh. Rinku and Hardik can play the finisher role well in the Indian team and can also play the big innings when required. Apart from the bat, Hardik can also contribute with the ball. Ramandeep performed well for India in the recent Emerging Asia Cup. Nitish Reddy has been included in the Test squad so Ramandeep can fill the need of a pace bowling all-rounder. Ramandeep might get a chance to make his debut.
The responsibilities of the spin department can be given to Varun Chakraborty and Akshar Patel. Arshdeep Singh can be seen leading the fast bowling attack. Arshdeep has been an important cog in the Indian T20 team for some time now and he played well at the start of the innings. Avesh Khan and Yash Dayal may get a chance to support him. Yash Dayal performed brilliantly in IPL 2024 and managed to take 15 wickets. Because of this, he was able to get the chance to debut.
India are likely to field 11 for the first T20 against South Africa:
Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, Ramandeep, Axar Patel, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakraborty, Yash Dayal and Avesh Khan.
