New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered Ajit Pawar’s National Congress Party to publish a disclaimer in major newspapers with an election clock symbol within 36 hours. It should also be published especially in Marathi newspapers. The court has asked Ajit Pawar to file a compliance affidavit report. The next hearing in the case will be held on November 13.
Ajit Pawar Group provided this information to the court
Ajit Pawar’s lawyer told the Supreme Court, “We have submitted an undertaking stating that we will comply with the previous order of the court.” We also submitted a photo of it. Still, we placed ads in newspapers about new businesses. In response, the court said why it took so long to publish the disclaimer in the newspaper. In response, Ajit Pawar’s lawyer claimed that Sharad Pawar’s faction had given false representations to the court. There was not a single incident of non-compliance with court orders.
Sharad Pawar Group made this allegation
Sharad Pawar’s lawyer said Ajit Pawar’s organization had deleted the videos. But what is happening at the bottom is that people associated with Ajit Pawar are showing Sharad Pawar’s videos. There is a clock inside. Their national working president yesterday said nothing would happen in court. We will fight on time.
Supreme Court issued this order to Ajit Group
The Supreme Court said we will allow them (Ajit Pawar faction) to use election symbols but with certain conditions. Ajit Pawar’s faction should publish a disclaimer in newspapers within 24 hours, or at most 36 hours. Sharad Pawar Group lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi said the court’s previous orders were being ignored every day. The Ajit Group has always said that Sharad Pawar is our God. This violation occurred again and again. Sharad Pawar’s name has a clock symbol which creates confusion.
