The fight for Selekela seat is between Champai Soren and Ganesh Mahil.
The contest for the Jharkhand Seraikela assembly seat is between former chief minister and BJP leader Champai Soren and JMM’s Ganesh Mahli. The two have competed twice for this seat, in 2014 and 2019. Champai Soren narrowly won both times. The only difference is that this time their parties have changed, Champai is contesting from the BJP instead of the JMM and Ganesh Mahali is contesting from the JMM instead of the BJP.
After Champai joined the BJP, when Ganesh Mahli’s votes were axed by the BJP, he became a rebel and took the votes away from the JMM. People in Champai village say that Champai helps people, so no matter which party will win. So the same Ganesh Mahali said that Champai has not made any progress and this time Tiger is competing with Babbar Sher.
Who will be the CM? Champai Soren gave this answer
Champai Soren said that there is a wave of the BJP in Kulhan and Jharkhand and we will also win and we have public support as well. Chief Minister Hemant Soren is free to speak and we will not respond to him. We believe the BJP will do well. As for the issue of the chief minister, Champai Soren said that it is up to the party to decide who will become the chief minister. This will be decided by the party. The BJP has given us the responsibility to fight from Selekela and we are fighting. Whatever responsibilities are entrusted to us in the future, we will fulfill them.
Bangladesh infiltration is Jharkhand’s biggest problem
The former chief minister said the biggest problem in Jharkhand was the infiltration of Bangladeshis. We’ve seen it on the ground too. Every settlement was wiped out. Daughters-in-law are not safe in our society, they are forced to marry, occupy land and sell it. If rejected, it will be cut into 50 pieces. Where do Hindus and Muslims come into contact with the issue of atrocities against tribals and looting of their lands in Bangladesh?
Who wouldn’t be happy about protecting the tribe? The BJP created Jharkhand and the Congress only opened fire on the agitators. The Sarna Code existed until 1951, when Congress repealed it. You are the one who gave up on the issue, and you are the one who raised the issue. How can JMM talk about the interests of tribals by allying with Congress? First stay away from Congress, then talk about tribes. Congress just fired.
Ganesh Mahli says PPP should tell the reasons for our rebellion

Champai Soren is not carrying out any development work in Seraikela. People here have been seeing the same face for 30 years, people want change, they want development. The public turned Champai Soren into a tiger, and the same public put the tiger in a cage this time. He is a tiger and we are lions.
He further said that if the BJP government comes to power, it will evict the tribals from the land. It will transform locals into foreigners and will work to transform foreigners into locals. This resulted in fires in Jharkhand. The BJP is misleading the public in the name of infiltration. The result in Kolhan 2019 will also be the same as this time.
