Congress leaders have also joined the electoral fray in Jharkhand. Party chief Malikajun Haq held a large rally in Mandu, Hazaribagh. Here, Haqq lashed out at the BJP, the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Haq also asked Prime Minister Modi for a debate.
While seeking votes for Congress candidate Patel, Haq said Prime Minister Modi is lying in my name these days. They misinterpreted my words. I don’t care, but the public will be misled.
The Congress president further said that Prime Minister Modi should debate with me on his respective commitments. Modi should sit on one side of the table and me on the other. Will everyone know who is the leader of lies?
If we lie, nothing will happen.
Hager said we are free people who believe not to lie. The Congress president further said that the country cannot progress if we lie. We have been working hard to move the country forward.
The Congress president said you should listen to Modi but vote only for those who work for you. He appealed to the people to let the Congress alliance win.
If there was infiltration, then why didn’t Shah resign?
Congress president Haq also targeted Amit Shah’s statement in which Shah said he would investigate infiltrators in Jharkhand and then deport them. Haq said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has been in power for 10 years. Amit Shah himself is the Home Minister.
If infiltration happened in Jharkhand, what was Amit Shah doing? Why don’t you get up from your chair? Haq further said that if we are given power, we will tell how we can expel the infiltrators.
In his speech, the Congress President said these questions must be answered. Today, the same people are asking us questions. The public is watching everything. These people will be wiped out from Jharkhand.
