Government agency CERT-In (Computer Emergency Response Team) has placed this new warning for Google Chrome users in the high-severity category, meaning it is extremely sensitive. Security agencies have discovered a number of flaws in arbitrary code in Google’s web browser that hackers could exploit to steal users’ personal information.

Theft of financial and personal data means hackers can carry out major cyberattacks, which can be very harmful.
CERT-In said in a warning issued on November 4 that users should update the Google Chrome browser on their PCs to the latest version 130.0.6723.69. There is a problem with arbitrary code in earlier versions. In this case, if you are also using Google Chrome browser on your smartphone or laptop, update it immediately.
