Tadipalu: A major accident occurred in Tadiparu, Andhra Pradesh on Monday. Here, four people were electrocuted while tying flexible banners near a statue of the social reformer. All four people died from electrocution. In addition, many people were reportedly injured in the incident and have been sent to the hospital. The injured are receiving treatment at the hospital. In addition to this, a compensation of Rs 500,000 each was announced for the families of the victims.
Banners were hung near the statue
According to information received, the incident allegedly occurred on Monday morning. Four people died due to electrocution in Tadiparu village in West Godavari district. It is learned that all these people put up flexible banners near the statue of social reformer Sardar Savaraya Papana Gaur. During this time, many people present were affected by the sudden power outage. After the accident, everyone was immediately taken to the hospital. Four people died at the scene due to electrocution, and other injured are receiving treatment.
CM expresses sadness
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over the incident. According to an official statement, four people were present at the unveiling ceremony of the statue of social reformer Sardar Sarvaraya Papanna Goud by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Deep condolences over the death of a young man who was electrocuted. Naidu has directed officials to ensure better treatment for the injured undergoing treatment at Tanuku Hospital in West Godavari district.
