Union Textiles Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Giriraj Singh on Sunday attacked the opposition over the Waqf Board issue. During this period, he lashed out at Congress leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi. The BJP leader even said that Rahul Gandhi wanted to start a civil war in India. Union Minister Giriraj Singh said this during a one-day visit to Uttar Pradesh.
Giriraj Singh, who arrived in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, said Rahul Gandhi was creating a new toolkit to start a civil war. He said when atrocities against Hindus occurred in Bangladesh, many Congress leaders had said that similar incidents would also happen in India. Giriraj Singh said on behalf of Congress leader Salman Khurshid that he had said that attacks like Bangladesh would also happen in India.

Speaking to ANI in Varanasi, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that the incident in Bangladesh occurred when Hindus were attacked and Congress leaders at the time had said that similar incidents would also happen in India. “I think Rahul Gandhi wants to create civil war in India in the name of waqf,” he said.

He said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was creating a new toolkit to start a civil war. But remember, the dream of congressional evil will never come true. “Remember, Rahul Gandhi’s dream will not come true because the youth of India have woken up,” the BJP leader said.
