Space World Group is evaluating various avenues of raising capital to bootstrap new ventures Constl and Ranext, which will provide internet service providers with fiber-optic connections between data centers and built-in plug-and-play fiber optic networks.

Founder Ankit Goel said Mint In an exclusive interaction, the company will go public to raise funds in the next three to six months but has yet to decide on the route it will take and how much stake it intends to dilute. “We have started to evaluate this,” he said.

Passive digital infrastructure provider New fiber optic networks are being built covering Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune, where 80% of the country’s data usage comes from. In addition to connecting these data centers to each other through dedicated fiber optic networks, it also provides fiber optic connectivity to data centers in these cities.

“Besides building the metro access network, we are also building the long-distance (network) across the country. “The first stretch from Delhi to Mumbai is already connected and next year, 13 metros will have similar connectivity maps. ” he said. The joint venture, called Contl, aims to provide low-latency, high-speed data connectivity to customers, which are mainly data centers, hyperscalers, Internet service providers and mobile network operators, which is a niche market in which it plans to capture a disproportionate share.

“We are also building a platform called Digital Infrastructure as a Service (DIAS), which will provide businesses with plug-and-play capabilities to provide them with on-demand bandwidth through the platform. We still need 6-9 months to bring it to market,” Goel said.

The service called Ranext will generate revenue from ISPs.
