This palace, located at the end of the Aravalli range and built keeping in mind the safety of Jaipur, still stands proudly with the memories of the past, but there is a legend about this fort that says that many such strange incidents have happened here , mysterious. Therefore, the fort is now named the Haunted Place or the Fortress of Horror. Not only that, this beautiful fort and its hills are said to be haunted by a wandering spirit that has not been freed to this day.
In 1734, King Jai Singh II ordered the construction of this fort and named it “Sudarshangarh”. Thereafter, in 1883, Sawai Madho Singh rebuilt Sudarshangarh, built a luxurious meeting room and decorated the doors and windows with murals. But later during the construction of the fortress, many such incidents occurred, which made everyone feel scared.
It is said that when the fort was under construction in the morning, the walls would collapse as soon as it got dark. Not only that, but suddenly there was a strong wind, and the glass of the doors and windows would shatter. The king was worried about this and informed the matter to Tantrik, who learned from his knowledge that the place was haunted by the ghost of Prince Nahar Singh, who had not yet been liberated.
After this, the king performed many rituals and built the Yuvraj Naharsingh temple at one end of the fort. Not only this, the name of the fort was also changed from Sudarshangarh to Nahargarh in the name of the crown prince. Even today, people come to visit Nahasin Bomiaji, but many unforgettable historical events happened.
