Srinivas Vanga, MLA from Palghar in Maharashtra who went missing after his ticket was cancelled, has returned home. Exactly 36 hours later, he returned home at 3 o’clock in the middle of the night. He met his family and went out for two more days.

As he left home again, MLA Srinivas told his family, “I badly need a break.” However, as he returned home, the concerns of his family and the police abated.

Furious at not getting a ticket, Vanga said: “It was a big mistake for me to support Eknath Shinde and join his party.”

Srinivas Vanga is the son of late BJP MP Chintaman Vanga. In the 2019 Assembly elections, he contested as a non-divisive Shiv Sena candidate from the Palghar (Scheduled Tribe) seat and won as MLA. Vanga has been supporting Shinde after the Shiv Sena split. He hopes the party will make him its candidate for the seat again.
