Today, Devgan’s multi-starrer film Singham 3 is all set to hit the screens. Singham and his Paltan will entertain the audience on the occasion of Diwali on November 1. This Friday, ‘Singham Again’ will clash with Kartik Aryan’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. The film has also received CBFC certification. The censor board reportedly made some changes to the film and cut out some scenes.
CBFC makes major changes
According to Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification has issued a UA certificate to “Singham 3”. However, the film also had to undergo some changes. The censor board that watched the film has requested that two 23-second “match cut” scenes in the picture be changed as required. In this scene, Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Hanuman play Singam, Avni and Simba respectively. Likewise, the scene where Singham and Shriram touch feet was also asked to be changed.
In addition to this, the film also underwent multiple edits. According to reports, the censorship board has asked the producers to cut 16 seconds of the scene. In the process, Ravana held, pulled and pushed Mama Sita. In the 29-second scene, Hanuman shows jealousy and flirts with Simba. The censor board also deleted this scene. In the film, Zubair’s character’s dialogue changed in four places. Additionally, some scenes of Kareena Kapoor’s Avni have also been changed.
Not only that, a 26-minute dialogue and scene were also changed by the censor board. It is said that this may affect India’s international relations with its neighbours. In addition, the scene where someone is beheaded in the police station has been blurred. From this scene onwards, the religious flags have been changed and the Shiva Stotra playing in the background has been removed. A dialogue from Zubair, “I am Ravana in your story, sending you your favorite” and the colors of the flags in the scene also changed.
Insert disclaimer into video
The censorship board also requires producers to place a disclaimer at the beginning of the image. It will read: “This film is entirely fictional.” Although the film’s story is inspired by Lord Ram, no character in the film should be considered a god. The people…society of today’s world, their culture and traditions are all represented in the story. This disclaimer will appear on screen for 1 minute and 19 seconds. At this point, the film has been edited for a total of 7 minutes and 12 seconds. The censor board cleared the film on October 28. This is a movie that lasts 2 hours, 24 minutes and 12 seconds.
Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Pa Deepika Padukone will star alongside Ajay Devgan in director Rohit Shetty’s Singham 3. Jackie Shroff, Dayanand Shetty, Shweta Tiwari, Ashwini Kalsekar and others play supporting roles in the film. Arjun Kapoor will be seen as the villain in this picture. “Singham 3” will be released in theaters on November 1.
