The Election Commission has dismissed the Congress’ allegations of any irregularities in the Haryana elections as baseless, false and untrue. The Electoral Commission also issued a 1,642-page response to the allegations. The committee has also written to the Congress party asking it to stop raising baseless allegations in election after election. The Election Commission said that in response to the issues raised by political parties, election officials in the 26 assembly constituencies had been thoroughly investigated and verified. No errors were discovered during the election. Any steps taken in these areas are done under the supervision of congressional candidates or agents.
The ECI’s reply to the Congress party also included 1,642 pages of evidence showing that the Congress candidate’s authorized representative was present at every step from the insertion of the battery into the EVM to the end of the count. Vote within 7-8 days. Accordingly, the Chief Electoral Officer also dismissed all complaints from the Congress party regarding irregularities in the Haryana Assembly elections.
