This is good news for around 32 lakh candidates who are waiting for the results of the UP Police Recruitment Examination to be announced. The Uttar Pradesh Police Promotion and Recruitment Board (UPPBPB) will announce the results for Uttar Pradesh Police soon. In this regard, the UPPRB DIG has written to SPs, SSPs and police commissioners in all districts of the state, instructing them to expedite preparations for the physical eligibility test.

The Police Recruitment Board is paying special attention to the status of height/weight measuring machines in various districts. To expedite the recruitment process, the board has asked the districts to provide a report on the availability of machines in this regard within a week so that the next step of the process can proceed smoothly. It is reported that the UP Police Recruitment Board will also announce the results of the written test for police recruitment in the next week. Candidates who qualify for this examination will be required to take a physical standard test.

Thousands of candidates participated in this recruitment process and were waiting for appointment to the post of constable in the state police force. After the results of this examination are announced, the physical examination phase of the selected candidates will begin, and physical fitness such as height and weight will be checked.

Results will be announced at the end of October

Let us tell you that before this, CM Yogi Adityanath has directed the recruitment committee to prepare to declare the UP Police Recruitment Examination results by the end of October. A related tweet was posted on Yogi Adityanath’s personal website and his office’s official Twitter account. The tweet read, “Getting ready to declare the results of the Police Recruitment Examination by the end of this month. Recruitment process for vacant posts must be carried out expeditiously and sanctity of the exam must be ensured at all costs: Chief Minister Shri @myogiadityanath ji maharaj.”

The police recruitment examination was held in two phases in August.

The UPPBPB Constable Written Examination will be conducted in two phases: the first phase will be held on August 23, 24 and 25, 2024, and the second phase will be held on August 30 and 31, 2024. On all exam days, exams are held in two shifts – first shift from 10 am to 12 noon and second shift from 3 pm to 5 pm. The examination was conducted at 1,174 examination centers in 67 districts across the state. To prevent fraud, the board arranged for biometric verification of candidates, including fingerprints and facial recognition.
