After a series of spats with Ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, comedian Kunal Kamra may have officially become an employee of the company as he undergoes “Looking forward to joining” after the company’s “job invitation”.
Kamra recently posted on X that he felt like an “Ola employee” after being tagged in thousands of customer complaints. He went out and created a “service crisis” plan for the company.
The comedian tweeted: “I had no choice but to accept @bhash’s offer to work with OLA… After being tagged thousands of times I feel like an OLA employee no matter what. OLA can pass Commit to the following action points to achieve this partnership and look forward to joining.”
Kunal Kamra has taken a fresh dig at Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal. A few weeks ago, he posted information on the X website about how the company hired bodyguards at its service centers.
His latest strategy for the company mentioned that Ola can take the following steps to ensure a smooth customer experience:
7-day repair commitment: Kamra encouraged Ola to ensure that all scooter repairs are completed within 7 working days of customers requesting services from authorized centres.
delay compensation: To resolve any delays beyond the seven-day deadline, Kamra suggested Ola provide temporary replacement scooters or reimburse them Rs 100 per day. 500 transportation fee until the repair is completed. He also suggested an additional Rs. Compensation is Rs 500 for each day of delay, subject to a maximum limit of Rs. 50,000.
insurance coverage: Kunal Kamra also urged Ola to provide two types of insurance for every new electric scooter: one for the scooter itself and another specifically for repairs, the latter of which should be provided free of charge to customers.
