Pappu Yadav
Pappu Yadav, MP from Purnia in Bihar, received death threats. He has since written to the Home Office to tighten his security. Pappu Yadav claimed that Lawrence Bishnoi gang threatened him.
He also said that my security should be upgraded from Category Y to Category Z. Also, police should be deployed in all districts of Bihar. If I am not given this sense of security, I will be murdered anytime and the central and Bihar governments will be held responsible, the MP said.
What did Pappu Yadav say in his letter?
In his letter to the Home Ministry, Pappu Yadav said, I have been elected six times as a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha (Lok Sabha). During this time, my family and I were attacked. Caste criminals, including Nepali Maoist groups, have carried out deadly attacks on several occasions. By the grace of God I am still saved.
Pappu Yadav told me that when the Maoists, an extremist group in Nepal, threatened me through my mobile phone in 2015, the central home ministry provided me with Y Plus security. Thereafter, in 2019, my security was downgraded to Category Y. A murderer responsible for multiple murders during the Lok Sabha elections took advantage of my lack of security and hurled obscene insults at me on his Facebook page. Not only that, he came into the house and threatened to kill me. I have provided you with written information protesting these threats.
“Death threats via mobile phone”
Pappu Yadav said, I have informed the chief minister, home secretary and police chief of Bihar about the threat received, but unfortunately, no one has taken notice of it so far. Purnia MP further said that today Lawrence Bishnoi gang is committing incidents continuously in the country and as a politician I protested against this incident and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang leader threatened to kill me . my phone.
Pappu Yadav said that despite such a severe threat to his life, the Bihar Home Ministry and the Union Home Ministry did not seem to be proactive about my safety. He further quipped that it seemed that only after my killing, they would be active in Lok Sabha and Parliament to express condolences.

Thirdly, a man named Mayank Singh made the threat on the Facebook page.
