UPSC Mains CSE Reserve List 2023 is out: On the request of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the waiting list for the Civil Service Mains Examination (CSE Mains) 2023 (UPSC CSE 2023 Waiting List). Candidates who appeared for the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023 and are waiting for the waitlist can now check it by visiting the official website of the Commission (UPSC) upsc.gov.in.
On the basis of the UPSC Civil Services Examination, a total of 120 candidates have been recommended to fill the remaining vacancies, including 88 candidates from the general category, 5 candidates from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 23 candidates from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 3 candidates from scheduled castes. Candidates are from SC (SC) and 1 candidate is from Scheduled Tribe (ST). The candidacy of 30 candidates is provisional, the commission said. It also informed that the recommended candidates will be contacted directly by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

Let us tell you that the UPSC CSE 2023 results have been announced on April 16, 2024. At that time, the committee recommended 1,016 candidates for appointment to Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and various other central departments as well as Group A and Group B vacancies. A total of 1,143 vacancies were filled in this examination. Currently, 120 candidates have been recommended to fill the remaining vacancies.
